MERRY CHRISTAMS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well…I thing that this is my last words to that blog………. Okay, I mean for this year! I have to confess you something that I didn’t told you all that time…… At 26th of December me and my family we will go to Italy and we will stay there till the 31st. Yep, this is a trip that I was planning to do it last year but all went wrong. So, the last 3 months I was trying to find air tickets, hotel a car to hire, and to find all the information that I wanted just to know where to go and what to see over there. I thing I did a good job (I’ll tell for sure when I come back). As you can imagine, my next lines to that blog, will be …..Next year…… I mean the first days of the New Year. ………….Do you want something to bring you from there? My destination is Milan at the northern Italy ….. and is the “capital of fashion”!!!! (This is not very good when you got a daughter –and a wife- like mine …… you know what I mean?!!!! ). 

So, because you’ll have to wait for a couple of days for my news (and our trip)…… Let me treat you with Soula’s traditional sweets “kourampiedes” and “melomakarona” (I know that it is a little hard for my family at the US to read these names….. but, believe me it is very easy to eat A LOT of them!!!!!!!!!!) I won’t tell you what these sweats are, because I want you to ask my aunt Jen to tell you!!! And when you ask her about the “melomakarona”, tell her that she has our best wishes from all our family (My parents, my sister and her family and specially from us).

…and then he did the “goblin”!!! As you can see at the pictures there were a lot of them and (as the fairy tale says..) they all slip to a house and turn it upside down….



...and when they found the “kourampiedes” (Christmas traditional sweets with flour sugar on top of them) …. They felt into the dish to eat them … that’s why you see the flour sugar to all of their faces!!!...but finally, when the house wife discovered what all those goblins did to her house took her broom and made them to run as far as they could!!!!! (yep, as you can see from this picture, Vaggelis did find out what is to be bitten from a broom!!!!!!! Hehehehahaha!!!!!!!)

Last day at school for this year !!!!

Yes, yesterday was the last day for school for this year so the 1st and the 2nd grade made a show for the rest of the school kids and to all the parents. First, Vaggelis played a tree (that’s why he is wearing brown and green clothes and a tree at his head).

Two Letters for Santa !!!!!!!.....

This afternoon, Katerina and Vaggelis took a piece of paper and made a letter to Santa Claus!

Yep, we told them that they should write a letter to Santa so we could mail it to him early enough to have the time to find the things that they want. 

So here are the two letters that they wrote to Santa.

This one is Katerina’s letter, and that is what she wrote:

“Santa Claus, this year I was a good child and that’s the reason I’m asking you a pink Nidendo DS with the “Dogs” game with it. I’m asking for this present for many years. I forgot to tell you that if you can’t find a pink one, bring me any other color. I love you Santa.”

And this is what Vaggelis’s wrote:

“Santa Claus, this year I was a good boy, that’s why I would like the ‘Mario and Sonic’ game for Nidendo DS. I love you.”

I want you to let me tell something to Santa too.

Okay here it is. 

“Dear Santa, Katerina and Vaggelis were really good children all this year. They were good with their school lessons and they pay attention to everything that we told them (me and Soula) to do. So I would like to ask you to try hard to find the presents that they want. We love you Santa Claus and we will be waiting you again this year to come to our house. 

P.S. There will be a glass of milk and some cookies for you next to the fire place in case you need to drink or eat something.”

I didn’t have any other choice. I know it is a dirty job but someone had to do it !!!!!!!

As I told you earlier, we first sat far away from the stage, but later on, maître told us that we could go to a table next to the stage. And so we did!

As you can see, our table was next to the stage. …….And that lovely lady you are looking at these two pictures, was as close to the stage as nobody of our company.

When we arrived, we were far away from the place that the singers sang, but this wasn’t any problem for us to hear the great voice of the lead singer Mitropanos. For those they know him, his was GREAT.

He started the music program (about 12:00 o’clock at night) and he ended it (about 04:30 in the early morning!!!!!!).

He only was out for an hour and a half to let the other singers sing their songs.

Mitropanos, was better than ever!!!!!

If you like the kind of music he is singing, I suggest you, to go and see (hear) him!!!!!!

(I know that some of you won’t know them.
I’ll try -Maybe later- to upload some of their most known songs just to hear them. Everyone of them is singing a different kind of music.)

Our friend's (George) birthday.

A couple of days ago, it was our friend’s George birthday. He wanted to take us and a couple of friends out to entertain us and he took us to ……….
