....the end of our trip in Italy....

Okay........................
to tell the truth,
(the things didn't work so well for us .....hihihihohohoho......)
The buzzer of the gate that we passed always bipping and the polisman ask here to take off here shoes......
Here we are in the plane right before our take off.......
Athens is waiting for us.....
I hope you took an idea of what we saw in Italy.
I will upload some great pictures of Italy sometime, just in case some you want them, But first I have to upload our "family reunion" hihihoho.......
Last day of this trip to Italy and time to go back to the airport. We had great time with our friends, so while I was driving to the airport, Misti (My friend's wife) asked me to stop for a moment. I did it and then she took a Champagne out of her bag, and some plastic imitations of champagne glassess and gave to everyone to drink to the great time that we had together........
I don't have words to describe you the feel of this moment........
It was the..........
GREATEST MOMENT
of this trip...!!!!!!!
(no...... Vaggelis wasn't drink champagne...... he just holding my glass so I can take the photo)
I have to thank Spiros's family for the great time that we had together.
(We also told that we will make another trip next year to Germany......... just because my Katerina except of the English lessons she is talking, she also take German lessons too. That's why she make us choose Germany to be our next trip)
Until then.....................
I'll drink to the good moments that will come!!!!!!!!!!!!
.................I dodn't want to forget "Miss Thodora"...... If she wasn't so good, so polite, soexpert of the roads in Italy,.......... we wouldn't have this great small trips here and there.....
If you dodn't remember "Miss Thodora", she is my GPS navigator, and you can see it in the next picture......

Everyday the night came faster than we expected it to come (maybe because the good time we had and the good company too).
So we went back to Milan to eat. We were very hungry because we didn;t ate anything till that time. As you can see at the pictures, we were waiting for "pizza margarita"...........
....but Vaggelis gave up.....!!!!!!
Yes he was sleeping on the chair..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmmmmmm...... Pizza Margarita (she manage to eat the half of the Pizza!!!!!!
Imagine how hungry she was, because she usually eat not more that 2 pieces.....

Here our two girls walking around and looking at the stores
Here is our older girl
(I'm calling her that way, just in case she reads the things I wrote about her before....)
She got style or what?....
yep she is in a shopping mall we found in Lugano...!!!!

In switzerland, they are proud of their milk and their chocolate...
As you can see in this store the make any kind of chocolate flavour you can or you can't imagine!!!!!
But with this and with that, and after a lot of walking kids wanted a break to rest and the "oldrer children" wanted a break for coffee.
So, we were are in a coffee shop (it was haed to find one to sit and dring coffee. I Italy they dring their coffee standing up....!!!!)

We went to a bakery store that we found there. Inside a woman (the owner of the bakery) saw us these cakes......
these were more like paintings than cakes....
Look at that skier ..... who things didn't work so well for him......!!!!!
Here Katerina and Vggelis.
Please when you see Katerina tell her about this Beutifull Coat she is wearing...... It is brand new from the outelt We were last day......
In the streets of Como we found a "carousel", and the kids like to make a turn.

You probably saw the sign "Salamini" and you probably thought that is "salami".........
...........................
Well, all the things that you saw (screws, hammers, benders, ...... and the salamis) are made of.....
................
...........................
chocolate!!!!!!!!
Is it great or what?!!!!!!
Next day we went to the biggest outlet of Italy, named "serravale".
There were more that 150 stores around a huge area. All famous designers have stores there with very-very low prices.
Big discounts.
When you asked for the price of something, you heard 20%, 30% and 50% off the discound price!!!!! Yep ..... with a daughter and a wife like mine ..... we spend all the day there.... From 10:30 am till 20:00 we were there looking, walking ....... SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!
These are the two girls that me and Vaggelis let them look and shop whatever they want just to make them feel good (and because we want them to look nice to!......
Right Vaggelis?)
(For the bill........ I used Soula's cretid card ..........hihihihihi ......so I don't care.....)

At the same afternoon we went to the "duomo" the biggest, largest, and most beautiful Cathedral of Italy. It took 400 years to build it.
As I know the state of Milan has 3 years trying to clean it and they don't have finish yet!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are in front of the "Duomo"
(What?........ You don't know that guy next to Soula?
..............
It's Okay..... I know him.......He's a good Guy...... )

I forgot to introduce you my friend and his family.
Here is Spiros, with his wife Mitsi, and the two daughters. The older daughter (with the black curly hair) is Fenia and the youngest (dressed in black) is Katerina. Yep, she has the same name and the same age with our Katerina.

Next to “Duomo” there was the “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II”. This is a cross like gallery with a big cupola in the center of the ”cross”. Inside the gallery you can find stores of famous designers like “Prada”, “louis Vuitton”, etc.
It was amazing looking up to the cupola with was all with small blue lights (maybe for the Christmas).

You probaly know that after we ate we went straight to sleep.
The next morning we went for our breakfast. The Hotel's breakfast had anything you like to eat.
You can see Vaggelis eatting his breakfast.....
.....and here is Katerina ready ready to go out for .......what else .........shopping!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is Vaggelis outside of the Central train station of Milan
(just look how big this station is)
.......so we took the subway and went to an open market that the man of our Hotel told us not to miss.
......................Sorry, but I don't have any pictures to show you....................................
..........................and that's because it was so crowded there, that I had to hold the kids by the hands!!!!!! You can't even imagine the people!!!!!! I was holding Vaggelis and Soula was holding Katerina, and we were tying hard not to loose the kids and to protect them from the crowd.
If you pass the number of the people wlking around us, it was a great market. You could find a lot things in low prices.
I forgot to tell you that we expected to find snow at Mi
lan, but, the weather was great, just a little cloudy but the temperature was very low (for our stantards). After about 5 hours of walking around this market our feet were freezing so we desided to go into a gig store just to get a little warm.

Stationale Generale

This is the General train station of Milan!
At the left lower end of the picture you can see the 3 entrances and at the right side of the picture you go to the trains.
There where 17 lines starting from that station!!!!!
