I told you that there were a lot of things to see around Milos island.

Here we are at the Museum of rocks.

I forgot to tell you that at Milos island they extract brimstone, opal, perlite, and many more...

Here they use dirt and perlite to sow a plant.

That is a small factory that extract brimstone.

Many-many years before, this was like a small country there. They worked and lived there, they even have their own money!!!!! 
This is the view from "Plaka" looking down as the ships are coming to the harbor.

Right behind as you see that photo is a great tavern(there is nothing else around there, not even a house for about ten miles away) that he is cooking with no electricity!

Mantrakia

Except all these great things that you can see at Milos island, there is one thing that you can find plenty there...

Clear, Blue or Light Blue Cool sea water for swimming!

Look at the next pictures and you'll see.
No it's not Bahamas nether Phuket.....Here is a panorama from "Mantrakia".

Because these small houses were used for the fishing boats they were built in places that look like small bays to protect them from the strong winds.

(Let me tell you that we stay there 10 days and the 8 of them there was a strong Northern wind and the fishing boats are all tied up).

The lovely, tender, beautiful,....... couple!!!!!

One night we decided to go to a bar.

The bar had a wooden pier (stage) in the sea water and you can sit there and bring you whatever you ordered there!

Fantastic!

Look at Katerina's left side to see the water. The stairs leads to the bar!

Isn't it fantastc or what?.

Talking about Milos, I forgot to mention the great sunset you see from there.

Klima.

I've already told you about "klima".

Well that is a panorama from there.And that's one of the most rare pictures....!!!

Exploring the island

Well here we are at the "Plaka" city.
The houses in the island are built like they used to built them.

They look like white boxes and the doors and the windows must be wooden and blue.

In the city the most houses are very old and the are a lot of narrow alleyways.

Walking around all these small alleyways you discover great things.

Here is my family in one of these alleyways.Katerina is waiting for a crepe.....

I told you that this a small island but it has so many things to see and do.

Here is a place called "Tsigrado".

I'll tell you about that place in a couple in a minute.

You probably didn't notice the color of the water.....

Okay take a closer look and enjoy it like we did..... like that girl that she is swimming in the photo.

......the hardest part is that you have to came back up from the same way even if you are tired from all your swimming down there.......
